Renovation of Littleton House
The complete renovation of a ‘one-off’ period farmhouse over a three year period. This included the creation of a new utility room, downstairs toilet and boot room. A double-storey rear extension and the transformation of the front section of the house, creating a new hallway, rebuilding of a front extension including a new lounge layout. Replace of the roof, including the transformation of the internal ceilings to vaulted ceilings.
The house originally consisted of a pitched roof 2 up, 2 down, with a 1990 flat roof rear extension. To the left of the house, as you look at it from the front, was a small plastic conservatory/porch.
The side porch was dismantled with a new natural stone utility room created. A new electric box was installed, along with a new oil boiler.
2017 / 2018
The complete redesign of the front section of the house, including a hallway with new stairs, lounge extension, new roof and vaulted ceilings. All electrics, windows, heating and networking replaced along with a new log burner.
What it looks like now.
“I am full of praise for Taylors of Bath. The quality of the build and their workmanship was excellent. The thought and planning that they put in to this difficult project was also exceptional, especially when you consider that they carried this work out whilst we lived in the house.”
“Their friendly team of builders became very much part of the family over the course of the project and Barry and Stan will forever be remembered.”
“Taylor’s offered great value money. They provided the lowest priced proposal for the works, but also managed to deliver the very highest standards.”
“As a family we couldn’t have asked for more.”
“I would recommend Taylor’s of Bath to anyone looking for a friendly team of builders, who deliver standout workmanship at prices people can afford.”
